Choosing the right balance between spending time with your children and your husband is challenging. Naturally, I'm together with my kids more since we have been home together. I only see my husband in the evening/night time and the weekends. On the rare moments we have together. We cherish it and appreciate each other. With this type of busy living, I need to own priorities to balance marriage and family. This means you sometimes miss your favorite show, or don't always get to go out with your friends. And that also relates to my own union. Atleast one time per calendar month, Andrew and I move from a weekend . If my parents can't help, we hire a babysitter. I run a background check on Kiwi hunts before bringing anybody round my kiddies.

When Andrew and I do have a date, we usually move to a great dinner or a picture. Our favourite form of food is probably Italian, I understand I can eat pasta daily. It's also a great change from me cooking the majority of the week. If we aren't in the mood to really go out to dinner, we choose a picture. The final one we watched together was A Quiet Place which was really scary. I had been grasping the pop corn cup the whole time in anticipation.

As much as we like to really go outside on adult dates, we love going out with these kiddies. Usually for walks in the park and playing in the swing places. Andrew gets overwhelmed in Chuck E. Cheese therefore we steer clear from that. Even though I really like the pizza, but marriage is really a compromise right?
